Leitch Motorsport Restorations

Our firm has restored more than 50 vehicles - race cars, sports cars, vintage classic cars, American custom cars - since 1989. Below are a few examples.

The photo above shows 1989 Swift DB4 (Formula Atlantic), a 1965 LeGrande MK 3B (Formula B),
a 1968 Matra MS10 (Formula 1) and a 1968 Aston-Martin DB-6 - all restored by Leitch Motorsport!

	To the left is a 1957 Maserati 250F, restored by Leitch Motorsport in 1997 and raced in New Zealand, UK, Europe and the USA by its owners.
The Formula One car on the right is the 1968 Matra MS 9 (only one!) completely restored by us in 2006. It was originally raced by Jackie Stewart and it was the first customer car with a Ford-Cosworth DFV engine.
	This is a Formula 2 Matra MS 5, powered by a Cosworth FVA (four-valve assembly) raced by Jackie Stewart and restored in 2008. The photo shows a test session with Barry Leitch driving.

1952 Frazer Nash Mille Miglia Restored by us in 2004 for the Frazer Nash Raid to New Zealand. Used annually by owner for touring since then. See the complete story by clicking on the photo to the left.
